Coney Island Discounts offer a great way for families to enjoy the fun and entertainment of this great New York City neighborhood with its amusement area. The park offers more than fifty rides, attractions and amusements. The park is not centrally managed; instead each attraction is individually run by a business.
The Coney Island park operates on a seasonal basis, usually between Easter and Halloween. During these months, the attractions and rides are open on weekends between Easter weekend and Memorial Day and all week until Labor Day. From Labor Day until end October, the park is open on weekends.
While the boardwalk and beach are open all year long, the lifeguards are only available between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The New York Aquarium and Nathan’s Hot Dogs are open all year long. The Coney Island Museum is open on weekend afternoons all year round.
Rides and attractions usually run from about noon until late evening during the week and on weekends, they run from noon all through the night to early morning.
Every Friday night during the open season, a fireworks display takes place on the beach. The show starts at 9:30pm.
There is no shortage of food at Coney Island. There are some old favorites, such as Totonnos Pizzeria Napolitano, Nathan’s Famous, Peggy O’Neill’s, Parkview Diner, Luna Grill, Footprints Cafe and more.
Once you have your Coney Island Discounts, the park is easily accessed by train or by bus.
