The park will launch a new attraction, Dinosaurs Alive on May 26. This new animatronic addition will allow visitors to take a step back in time to 245 million years ago. The outdoor Jurassic forest will be home to 56 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.
Kings Island’s interactive, multi-sensory park brings together elements of technology, science and inspiration as the dinosaurs move about and roar. Nearly every feature of the hand-carved dinosaurs mimics that of the original creatures.
The Ruyang Yellow River dinosaur is the largest animatronic dinosaur in the world, at a massive 72 feet long, 30 feet high and 12 feet wide. Along with Ruyang, visitors will meet the scary Irratator, Spinosaurus, Baryonyx. Famous Tyrannosaurus Rex and Spinosaurus are part of the line up as well as the three-horned Triceratops.
