Amusement park lovers should do their best to get hold of Great Escape Tickets. This park is situated in Queensbury, New York. The park was opened way back in 1954 and was named Storyville USA at the time. Initially, the park was designed for children and was based on a fairy tale theme.
At the time, the first themed area was opened and called Ghosttown. It was only in 184 that the park’s name was changed from Ghosttown USA to The Great Escape. It was also at this time that the park added the first of its seven rollers coaster rides which was called the Steamin’ Demon.
Splashwater Park was introduced to the park in 1995. Pemier Entertainment bought out the park and later on Premier Entertainment was changed to Six Flags. Since then, many rides and and play areas have been added to the park.
Six Flags boasts the first indoors Water Park in New York and only lodge guests are permitted to attend the indoor water park. Many guests enjoy the 500 000 gallon wave pool which is at their disposal with Great Escape Tickets.
