Going to a Disney amusement park does not limit its visitor to rides on land. There are water parks under the Disney park management and one of them is Typhoon Lagoon, a family-oriented theme park that offers not just waterslides but also the highest waves and real sharks and other wild marine animals (don’t worry, Disney has kept these creatures in a saltwater tank and implemented rules for everyone’s safety).
A day will never be a boring one when inside Typhoon Lagoon because there are a dozen attractions a visitor can choose from. Raft rides through the slides are always the hit spots in water parks, hence there’s Crush N’ Gusher and Gang Plank Falls. For an easy flow afloat a stream, try Castaway Creek and Ketchakiddee Creek or choose between Keelhaul Falls and Mayday Falls if an added push and thrill is desired. Fast waterslides are to be expected with Humunga Kowabunga and Storm Slides. The Shark Reef takes guests to a journey by snorkelling with sharks, stingrays and other types of tropical fish. The Surf Pool is where waves six feet high can be found. However, should a guest to just stay inside the resort and relax, he or she can use the hammocks and lounge chairs at the Sandy White Beach.
