Doswell, Virginia in Hanover County is home to a theme park for Kings Dominion tickets holders. Cedar Fair Entertainment Company owns this park that is 400 acres in size. The amusement park was previously part of the chain of Paramount Parks and Cedar Fair acquired this park from the CBS Corporation in June 2006.
The park acquired its name from the Kings Island Park in Kings Mills Ohio. Kings Entertainment built and owned both these parks originally. Guests will enjoy visiting Kings Dominion as they have some of the most fantastic rides around and the water fun is absolutely a blast.
