Discovery Cove tickets are very popular with guests who want to interact with the dolphins, tropical fish, exotic bird life and land mammals in the heart of Greater Orlando, Florida. Disovery Cove is situated near SeaWorld and Aquatica and managed by The Blackstone Group’s subsidiary, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

In addition to dolphin sessions, guests can also use the park’s snorkeling equipment to visit the coral reef to watch or interact with a wide range of tropical fish. There is an underwater barracuda and shark tank behind protective glass.

The stingray tank is also available for guests to swim in and to interact with the huge stingrays after attending a short orientation with the adventure guides.

Discovery Cove’s free flight aviary contains more than two hundred and fifty tropical birds, which the guests can feed. This includes exotic birds such as toucans and parrots.

A heated tropical river runs through the aviary and visitors can float past the lovely beaches, rainforest landscape and waterfalls in the park. There is also a heated pool in the resort.

The company announced a new attraction in October 2010, named the Grand Reef, which consists of a palm-lined island with a white sandy beach, underwater grottos with reef sharks, moray eels and tropical fish. A range of activities will include a rope bridge crossing over a shark filled lagoon, as well as snorkeling with eagle rays.

There is so much to be done at the resort that your Discovery Cove tickets will be well worth it.
