You don’t have to go to Africa just to have that authentic experience of being in a safari adventure complete with wild animals in the background. Just buying Wild Safari tickets will take you to the biggest safari inside the popular Six Flags theme park. Picture this in your head: 350 acres of wildlife, 1,200 animals that includes endangered species, and 4.5 miles of auto trail for a closer encounter of the jungle life in the city.
There are five activities in store for visitors, especially those who are going to Wild Safari for the first time. The V.I.P. Off-Road Adventure Tour, which lasts 2-3 ½ hours, is inclusive of a designated tour guide who will stay with the group in their own private vehicle and a souvenir shirt at the end of the trip. The Golden Kingdom/Safari Discoveries features a California sea lion exhibit, an aviary called Parakeet Paradise, an animal nursery, interactions with “Please Touch” ambassadors, an interactive artifacts exhibit and a 90-minute Close Encounters tour with giraffes and tigers. The Safari Express Tour is a limited-seating tour inside an air-conditioned bus. Students can experience the safari first-hand through animal outreach programs (Academic Animal Adventures), or a one-week immersion called the Animal Adventure Camp.
